I kinda figured as much (but it was sorta turning into a highjack...lol), before you make your final decision (if you haven't already) don't forget to take into account the added size of a case, (which of course isn't a factor if you like goin naked!)

this is my first full day with my Droid Maxx. ran it down from what charge it had out of the box and charged it through out the night.

took it off the charger at 7 am this morning and watched about a half hour of YouTube. at work I streamed Google Music for about 4 hours on Wi-Fi to Bluetooth head phones, took 6 or 7 pics. a few emails, text messages, two calls, and now it's 9pm and I'm at 58%.

An update on my above post:

Didn't charge last night, still working off of my first full charge. I spent a good two hours playing around with the phone after I made the last post, mostly trying to find a good TTS replacement voice I liked.
This morning, I've sent some texts and read some emails, and have been streaming google music over wifi to my BT headphones, have been playing with MotorolaConnect and am currently sitting at 33% battery and usage says its been up for 1D 3H 5M.

Consider me impressed!

My averages are skewed because from close of business Friday to open of business Monday I ignore all calls/text/emails except from party animals. That being said I can abuse the H E double toothpicks during the day. I've had this since launch and my average usage is in line with all my other phones. Except for my RAZR. Poo.

I placed my order for the Maxx yesterday, and it looks like FedEx will deliver it Tuesday. I can't wait! Already have 2 cases on their way from Amazon too since I'm not one for going naked (take that how you will lol).

I'm trying to decide if I want an Incipio Feather and /or dual pro in cyan. I'm only hesitant because after 2 months my maxx hd feather case in a similar neon blue color, began to get dirty and yellow. Dish soap didn't fix it.

My coworker has the feather case because my company was giving it away with the purchase of the Maxx HD months ago. I'd consider that case because it is much less bulky than an Otterbox, but the color choices suck! I gotta stick with purple lol. Got one of my cases today, now I just need the damn phone!

Droid Maxx 1st 48 hours -> 26% charge left

After I activated the Droid Maxx last week, there was 26% charge remaining after the first 48 hours of use. I would say usage was light, because I didn't have a lot of time to activate or use the new featuers. Probably the largest use was 4 - 5 hours of driving with navigation in use most of the time. I was very pleased with that.

The phone arrived with 61% battery. Even after activation, Motorola Migrate, downloading apps, playing with settings, etc, I'm still at 40% after just shy of 5 hours and screen on time at 1hr 35 minutes. I have a feeling I will be quite happy with this phone

Tsk tsk tsk for not fully charging it as per instructions. Don't feel bad mine came similar. Do do a full cycle soon. Be fore warned. Charging takes time as does discharging it to 10%. First impressions?

I just got mine and it was also 60% charged. I started using it right away and didn't fully charge it. The salesperson never told me that it needed to be fully charged before first use. I even said to her that it has enough charge and I can use it right away and she said yep.

What does not fully charging it do to the phone?

Also, is it bad to use it when it's charging?

And lastly, is it bad to charge when there's 50% charge left for example?
