Though Im' on 1.6, I used 1.0 from when it was released up til 1.6 was released and I had awesome battery. Still do on 1.6. Look at your processes running and figure out what is killing it. Frankly though, 1.6 is out, update to 1.6.

Stock OTA 2.2 with some blur/verizon bloat removed. Getting 24-34 hours on average with decent usage. Frankly, the stock ROM runs great and I see no reason anymore to switch. I just wonder what is in blur that makes the battery life so much better.
