ok so what if i buy a gnex from amazon but something happens to the phone and i need some type of customer service (repair, replacement, anything), who do i contact?? do i contact amazon since i bought it from them or do i take it to verizon since its a vzw phone...?

Amazon is just providing you the phone in agreement to there terms AmazonWireless anything and everything is through Verizon wireless.

how many people think letstalk will send out the gnex on 12/30 for those who are backordered and given that estimated date...?

I have a feeling a bunch of people will start getting email notifications that they need to call customer service and when they call will be told they had some issues with carrier activation of some sort. They will use that as their reason why the estimated delivery date will be pushed back again....

i predict only a very small handful of people will get thier orders fulfilled on 12/30

Nexus delayed again

Been looking at the "backordered" status of my Galaxy Nexus from LetsTalk.com for the last two weeks. Estimated date was 12/30, now that it's here, they pushed it to 1/12. What gives? Anyone else seeing this? Don't know how much longer I can wait. Might have to cancel and spend the extra $75.

Just checked mine as I too had the estimated arrival change a few times but finally it said ready to ship and estimated my receiving it on the 2nd so as of now looking good.

They changed mine to 1/12 and guess what! I'll be cancelling my order in a few hours and going to pick it up at Verizon. My current phone is barely functional, I mean all it really does is makes phones calls. I can't text, search the internet, slow, laggy, random reboots, etc etc etc. I will never try to purchase anything from them again and I will scream it from the mountain tops that LETS TALK SUCKS!!!!!

Don't forget to use your 25 dollar free coupon from them. I just got my canvas large size pouch for the Gnex which of course didn't fit.

You might check out Costco if you can as I got mine w bundle for $289. At least you can save $10 and get some extras w the bundle.

I know the feeling. sometimes saving a few bucks just isn't worth the head ache. ..... I like to see the "whites of their eyes" when I purchase a phone. lol

OK I ordered from LetsTalk the first day (Dec 15th) in the morning around 9EST and CANCELED the next day.....couldn't find the phone anywhere for less than $300 so I REISSUED the order on 12/22.Well I consider myself very lucky now cuz the phone is on the way to my house as of yesterday :] all in all.....the whole hassle was worth the $150 savings

Got mine from letstalk on the 3rd with it taking a little extra time to ship because the holiday. Overall even though a longer wait than I would have liked, I am glad I saved as much as I did.

I also received my GNex on 1/3 which was shipped on 12/30 and ordered on 12/15. My LT order always stated available on 12/30 (which came true). I was somewhat pissed as LT website states free overnight shipping. I was hoping to receive on Saturday the 31st. I was trying to wait patiently, but when I received the email that it shipped, I couldn't stand it anymore. Especially since it arrived at the UPS warehouse about 60 miles from my house. I wanted to drive to pick it up. My wife thought I was crazy. Anyway, the phone is great and I'm glad to finally have it. RIP OG Droid.
