backup assistant wont sync

I can't get my backup assistant to sync. keep getting error message database. any idea how to fix problem?

Backup Assistant has been nothing but problems for many folks. Not familiar with the Ally, but if it uses your gmail contacts in the phone, that should suffice.

Pretty sure that Backup Assistant isn't for Android smart phones. Your contacts will now go in your gmail account.

Unfortunately, Backup Assistant is some of the bloatware that comes on the Droid.
