battery life on LM

Yeah I flashed the older Superuser Permissions app and everything seems to run alot better especially SetCpu. I had lots of problems with it on 2.2.2.

Just put LM on my phone yesterday with the Watermark'd theme. loving it so far.

I have P3's 1000ghz kernel on. At the moment my phone has been going a little over 12 hours with no charge and my batter is still at 70%

I'm recalibrating my BatteyLeft so I'm going to let it run until it dies. I'll post back with my total life off on charge. But so far I'm having better battery life on LM that I did on Kangerade 5.0.9

I am on Lithium and have been running now for 9 hours with no charge and normal usage. I am currently sitting at 80% battery life. I do have profiles setup in SetCPU and have had wifi, bluetooth, GPS and syncing turned off for most of that time. So far the I concur that battery life has actually been better for me then it was when on Kangerade.

its an app on the market, i like autokiller better, thats just me tho

I had used autokiller for a few days (uninstalled today) but I just don't like how you can't permanently set the oom levels and/or permanently ignore certain things. It kept killing a bunch of my widgets, and that was when it was set on moderate.

I bet you anything its superuser 2.2.2, that thing was messing with all kinds of my root apps, before i switched to older one autokiller wouldn't even set on boot

Oh for real, but I had already flashed the 2.1 superuser that you had posted a day or two ago and I was still having issues. It seemed like every time my screen was off for longer than 30 minutes, it would always take forever to load up the home screen after I unlocked it. Part of it may be attributed to widgetlocker being killed by autokiller, but the redraw issues were getting so irritating.

Well I haven't had the app kill the locker but it dose kill the launcher for me, ill look into the oop thing, I'm intrested in seeing if I can narrow it down,

conservative setting

how are you guys getting the conservative setcpu setting using the P3droid kernels? I do not have this option when using the kernels offered through rom manager.

I tried downloading and installing the chevy kernels which I know have conservative but I went into an endless boot loop.

My battery life seems fine when not in use, however it seems to drain fast when browsing or doing other things.

Thanks in advance for any help offered!

The chevy kernels were updated in Rom manager earlier. I tried the new ones and they work with no boot loops. I am now able to setcpu to conservative - this should help with the battery a lot. I'll report tomorrow if it seems better.

I think all the p3 kernels in rom manager are for 2.1 roms only here http://p3designs.info/kernels/ is a link for all the p3 kernels

I've been running the LithMod for a few days now and noticing that my battery life is leaps and bounds better than Kangerade. I'm using the p3 LV 1.2 gHz kernel and SetCPU with SU2.1 running. Here's my profiles:

regular throttle: 1100/400
temp over 45C: 400/250 (hasn't come anywhere close to that yet)
Screen off: 400/250
Charging/Full: 1100/400
Battery <27%: 500/250
Battery <100%: 1100/400

I've been doing this with moderate use all day yesterday w/wifi and GPS on and went down to 50% after maybe 7 hrs. Charged back up, and tonight I've been on the road, using Cube(3) media player and after 2 hrs of that plus a few long phone calls, I'm down to 80%.

Did I mention this is incredibly zippy??

good battery life..8 hour a day user...still can't venture far from a charger..still has great battery life..
p3 kernel ..800....performance .....brightness down as low as I can stand it...
