Battery Life Razr Maxx sucks since ICS update.

Boy this Tapatalk buff is weird. I tried to quote jackiescivic's but it kept quoting dandroid's post from another page instead. Jackie, did you have the monitor app running since before the last charge?

I have no idea lol

OK, because I did unplug prior to running the app (had just did an FDR), and the app only sees me as being disconnected from battery for 2 hours, whereas I haven't charged in over a day.

To train the battery meter I know you have to charge it to 100% with the phone off, then letvit discharge to about 10%. My question is should I run the battery down before charging to 100% or does it matter?

I could be wrong, but I don't believe you need to train the battery. Don't recall the links, but I think that theory was debunked.

Ever since I turned off the global setting and went back to LTE/CDMA, my battery seems just like it was before ICS.

Ahhh, gotcha!

That I do understand.

Just like every rechargeable battery out there, it will increasingly have a smaller capacity. Shame too because I really do love the MAXX's battery life. Going to hate getting rid of this phone for just that reason when that time comes.

Thank you. I meant battery meter, kinda tired so my mistake. Thank you again for the link.

After training my battery meter I haven't seen any difference in my battery life. Perhaps it was already trained.

No, it doesn't matter
Phone off (at any point)
Charge to 100%
Use normally to 10%
Phone off again and charge back up to 100%
This calibrates the meter to your battery
