Best SMS App?

Any recommendations for a good texting app to replace the stock Android one?

I used textra on 4.4,and it crashed fairly often. Other then that i liked it. Has this been fixed in 5.1?

I like to use Hangouts. Pretty minimal. No real customization, but all I want is for it to send and receive messages.

I despise Hangouts for SMS. And the new Update is HORRID.

Serves my purposes. I don't text a whole lot, so I don't need much. I love the new AW integration.
