[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X

I need my camcorder!! Lol like now! Anyone know of an app for camcorder??? Did they fix it on nightlie 7???

Videocam Illusion is a working camcorder for cm4dx.

Is that in the app market?

So is this rom worth downloading now or should I just wait until it gets out of beta? I'm on zombiestomped now and I'm looking for a change.. but I'm not good enough at all o this to point where I'd install all of this just to check it out.

This rom is the best I've seen yet. The cyanogen options are a definite bonus. If you do not want to sbf there is a all in one zip build by TBH. It will update the kernel to the one needed for Cm7 and also install Cm7 ( the link will be below). The all in one does not install the gapps. I would then download the latest nightly and install that. Do not restore a gingerbread back up after this because you will be on the froyo kernel.

Yes the app is in the market, search photo illusion and you should see their video app.

To get back to gingerbread you have to flash the two part 595 zip, you may just be able to flash 596 zip. The files were created by team black hat. I have not and probably will not go back to ginger blur. So I have not tested going back. Good luck.

I also noticed this. AND I don't know if anyone notices this but on my phone (ever since I flashed the most recent nighlie) when the screen flips it always goes what I would call "upside down" and I literally have to shake the phone like give it whiplash to flip it back.

OK - I just noticed almost all of my pics are gone that I took with the Blur Camera. I've got like 26 left out of about 500. Before I flashed this I was running Liberty GB using the Blur Camera and Gallery which are not present on this ROM. I see thumbnails of the pics in the camera folder but not the pics. And all of my video is gone as well. Anyone have this problem and how do I access those files - they aren't hidden. They just seem to be missing....

just open a file manager and go to /sdcard/DCIM/Camera and they should all be in there.

I keep wondering if I'm actually doing this correctly... What ive been doing since nightly 1 is I get a nightly. I reboot into recovery and mount system and install the update from sd. That's it. Seems to be working ok but I'm not sure. Should I be using rom manager instead? When ya say wipe cache... Does that mean the dalvik cache or whatever that option is? What is dalvik cache? Sorry lots of questions..

dont mount system. just wipe dalvik cache and install zip. thats it.
or
install it from rom manager.
