How hard is it to flash this? Compared to Liberty? Is it much more involved? I loooooove Liberty but I'm curious about Cyanogenmod

Very easy.
You can SBF back to froyo and install the .zip file, or use the Team Black Hat All in one that works coming from any ROM.
So overall very easy.

Watch this whole video. don't skip through as he does say some important things NOT to do, including ever using Droid X/2 bootsrapper.
The video shows how to install the TBH All in One file.
Just do exactly what he does.

I appreciate the info! I've only ever flashed Liberty but not LGB, it was the most popular from what I researched and I get grrrrrreat battery life. I'm on Froyo now obviously and I do have DX bootstrapper installed so I'll probably just SBF back to bonestock and start from scratch. I can't wait for the first stable rom of this!
ok idk about anyone else but ever since i flashed to nightlie #10 I cant connect to comp via usb. It wont connect for some reason , but this little android pops up and says
Than at bottom it says
But when i click it the little wheel just spins and spins... It never loadds up.
PLEASE HELP!!!

try this...
go to Settings>Applications>Development, and uncheck USB Debugging Notify & uncheck USB Debugging.
also, sometimes I have to unplug and plug back in to get my computer to recognize phone.
No dice. It wasn't ever on to begin with.

try it with usb debugging on.

I am new to actually posting here on the forums....I've been hanging around gleening as much info as I can since I got my DX about a year ago. Have to thank everyone here for providing such a wealth of information. Over the past year I've probably flashed just about every ROM that looked interesting and I stuck with Liberty for the longest. I recently switched over to CM7 and love it so far, even with the bugs....they're expected in a beta. I've noticed a few posts throughout this thread about people thinking that cvpcs should start including fixes in the nightlies, I'm not sure if alot of people realize, but the nightlies are put out by a program and not hand made. at least thats what I got out of the explanation of a nightly here: Still Loading ... » blog:2011-06-18:cm7_droid_x_nightlies_go_live

cvpcs has done many fixes and they go right into the nightlies. he just hasnt done the camera one because the fix is to use moto files, which he doesnt want to use because it's not built from google source. I think the mms problem was caused by the cross platform updates that go into the nightlies. I have no idea how or when that will be incorporated into the nightly.

did you wipe cache or wipe dalvik cache or anything? might help.I even flashed bck to nihtly #9 same thing... I don't know what happened

Yeah man but idk do you see this when you plug yours in? I dont even see how it could get on my phone.
