Has anyone else been finding their data dropping? My "3g" and signal bars occasionally go from green to white/gray for awhile, and no data works until i reboot and it goes green again. Any idea why this is and any fix?

So i've realized that it occurs when my signal drops and then comes back, i.e. in the elevator, underground, subway, etc. It starts green, then the signal is lost, then when it comes back, its grey/white and no data works.

Anyone have any ideas? any help would be awesome.

Do you have wifi turned on? When I use wifi and then go back to the cell radio I get the same thing: no data (only white bars, no green). Only solution I've found is reboot. Same thing happens with airplane mode. Others have said this is a Gingerbread problem. Any other thoughts/solutions?

The only way I've found that fixes this problem is to turn airplane mode on then back off. It's very annoying to have to do that everytime. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon!

My X has had that problem since the day I got it. Its much better with custom ROMs.

Supposedly, its either tonights or tomorrows nightly. I am definitely going to have to flash back to CM7.

I am going out of town tomorrow morning, so I'll get up extra early and flash. Does anybody mind posting if the new nightly is 2.3.5, if they flash it tonight? I would definitely appreciate it.

So, i haven't tried this yet, but one of the other threads about data connection suggested to update the baseband to .12...i don't know what my baseband is now, but assuming its not that, i'll do it and share the results. thanks for your help!
