[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X

regarding the 2.3.5 update, is it too much to hope for a big improvement in battery life?

(I'm at work, will flash Nightly #42 when I get home).

I'm not noticing any differences yet, we'll see about battery life, but I'm not keeping my hopes up hehe

Bug fixes mainly. NFC support (for those phones that can utilize it (I wish my d2 was one of them!)

CM74D2-2.3.5

Hate to complain about such a great rom, but having to reboot to go from wifi to 3g is getting tiresome, airplane mode doesn't work now, it won't turn on, but if I reboot, it's on after booting. Maybe if there was somewhere to go to find out what bugs are being worked on? Maybe at least knowing the dev is aware of the various bugs?
In a separate issue, and honestly not being sarcastic, why hasn't the all in one fix (camera, torch, etc)been integrated into the rom?
Really liking this rom, and not so hot to upgrade to a bionic or s2 now, my X has never been better.

No. Wipe data, cache and dalvik. Mount system and install. Don't forget gapps after

CM74D2-2.3.5

What is "gapps"?

You'll also need Google Apps. The newest zip is 20110613. It's available in Koush's ROM Manager, or at the mirror below which will be removed upon request if it violates any rules that I'm unaware of.
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
Install after the rom, before rebooting

It's google apps (gmail, maps etc..).

CM74D2-2.3.5
neither of those are in gapps.
the gapps zip installs the market app, news&weather widget, google books, car/home dock app, quick search box, gtalk, and it installs all the background services for network location and syncing (contacts and calendar and music etc).
