Ok...if your getting a lot of force closes, just wiping data will usually fix the problem..you don't have to reinstall the rom or go through the whole process...however, you will have to reset your apps and all..just like when you first got to cm7..and the keyboard apps can be found in the market..I'm on d2 so I haven't any..I have used some of the market keyboards and there are free ones as well..some will specify the size..hope this helps!:-) I've gotta get to bed to get the kids up for the bus @ 5:30..lol ...good luck! And cm7 will grow on you..its not bad at all...I love it..only battery drain..
Btw..remember though..if you keep getting force closes...a wipe will help..sometimes during a rom flash, things can get a little strange..always helps to wipe right after you flash too! Good luck! I will be back on as usual in a few hours to check the threads..

I ended up downloading the apk from off the net and installing that I was also able to install one email account now I just keep getting errors like wrong password and or account name (its correct) or another error can't connect to server.. This is so frustrating.. Like you, I need sleep will work some more on it later.. Sleep well... And thanks again for the help..

Glad you're on logic. Just so you know, you didn't have to rename the nightly to update.zip. you were confusing the all in one with the nightlies.
You know this now, but do not use bootstrap with cm7! Just hold power, select reboot, then recovery

Not sure I'll be here for long unfortunately I'm having some deal breaking issues... after flashing the newest nightly I can not install any and all zips which means no all in one fix for camera or gapps.. I get a signature failure error..

[EDIT] For some strange reason I had to reset permissions now I can install from zip file again..

Your talking about the all in one back to froyo cm7? Right? If so..what I did, was rename the all in one to update.zip and moved it to the root of sd..
Then manually formatted data
System
And then went to intall update.zip
Then you will get radio error or some kind of error..lol
Boot anyway and all will be fine...should..:-)
Swagger is the guy that gave me complete instructions..but I have heard of people just flashing like a rom..wiping data and all caches..then choose zip..but I did it the way I was told..lol

I would get a second opinion on the process, as its been a bit since I tried it..but I would love to keep it stashed on my sd...

"The following instructions are to install TeamBlackHat's all-in-one installer. This can be installed over Froyo or Gingerbread. I've also been told you can install it over any ROM, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable if you did it over the stock ROM.

Required zip file:
CM4DX All-in-One installer:
http://goo-inside.me/private/cvpcs/u...ed-MONSTER.zip"

this one is the one im trying to do..and im wondering if i should even do a factory reset wipe data cache and then flash or just go straight to flashing it over my current rom

I flashed the all-in-one zip over rooted stock GB .596 with no problems at all. Just make sure to follow the TBH instructions exactly and you should be fine.

I don't get why people are having issues. I followed the directions and it was fine. I was on liberty gb, I renamed the all in one to update.zip, formatted everything, wiped everything, mounted and installed through update.zip in recovery. Not one issue.

If already on froyo, it's even easier. No need to format anything. Just wipe it all, mount and install. I have 0 bugs. My phone is screaming fast (instant loads). Not one complaint besides battery. Do your research and you'll have no issues!

If anyone needs it, pm me and I'll call you. I'm happy to do it.

I SBF'd back tho starting from scratch and wiped everything data, cashe, dalvik and followed the directions as well, but my DX is just NOT diggin this ROM.. I am trying to make things work I have to constantly reset permissions to get any zips to install.. Does anyone know if we can flash the new .13 baseband on top of this ROM? I know I would have to prolly reinstall it after each nightly just like the cam fix and gapps.zips
