Bethesda's Fallout Shelter is Now Available for Android

Ugh...it's so annoying when one mole rat invasion kill 90% of your vault. I've spent the last two days scrounging to get it back up to snuff. Doesn't help that caps are ridiculously rare and I needed to use them to revive all my rares.

I have no rares yet, but I've been sending Mr Handys & dwellers out to explore. I've got at least a handful of folks armed with guns. They all move in when anything attacks & make quick work.

I hear ya on caps though. I've got a dead guy out in the wasteland that found caps & 2 more guns, but I can't afford to revive him yet.

After two days, my Vault is finally back in order. I'm now starting to settle in with 25 Dwellers and I'm just raising their SPECIAL stats. WARNING: Most of this stuff takes A LOT OF TIME AND ATTENTION.

I am also training my people. I take two people from each resource and level them up level 3. I just keep rotating between resources so that I am only having to juggle 1 resource being low at a time. It is fairly simple now that I have 42 folks.

I've got 72 people. I've been training some as well. I just use the sort feature in the people list. When someone in the training rooms has a higher special than people working in a corresponding room, I toss them in to work.

Dude, if you've got a gun and I send you to a room to kill mole rats or Death Claws or Raiders, it'd be really nice if you'd follow them around and shoot them until they're dead.

Also, I wish I could get more people into one single room. 2 with guns is no go for Death Claws.

I thought you guys would like to know that we aren't the only addicts to this game. It turns out to be ridiculously popular! Here's a cool infographic on its success:

I wonder if the death stats take into account those who were revived...?

Also, makes my little 100+ dweller vault feel pretty insignificant.

I'll have to give this one a looksee.
Last game I really invested some time in was the highly underrated Shardlands. That was an awesome game.
Maybe this one will renew my diminished mobile gaming views.

This game sounds like it could be fun . Is it worth playing on a small screen (4.7 in) or is there to much going on with fat fingers ?

This game sucks!! I just had 22 people die by cockroaches.
You're doing it wrong bro. Guns. Lots of guns. Send people with guns to the room they come up in. If they make it to other rooms, send the funds after them. Once they're dead, everyone goes back to their assigned rooms.

But how do you get guns Jonny?

Glad you asked, friend. Load someone up with stimpacks & radaway & send them exploring. The higher their level, the better. If you have one med bay & one science lab, you have 15 of each. If you give them all to someone, you can send them exploring all night. They'll find guns, outfits, & caps & level themselves up. High luck is good too. Make sure you check on them. They'll die if they run out of meds & continue exploring & fighting, but they can't be hurt on the way back, so you can leave them out until they've used their last stimpack.

I've had one guy bring back at least 10 guns in one trip. Haven't had roaches leave the room they first came in since.
