Bionic ICS Leak v 6.7.2233 (Android 4.0.4) [download link]

Sorry, newbie here.

I went to ICS today using this link. Thanks so much! But I have one question. Is 4G toggling not able to be done in this build? The option doesnt seem to be selectable on the mobile networks screen.

Yes, there is a way, just not in the 'menu'.

Dial *#*#4636#*#* from your phone, it opens up a hidden menu. Tap the arrow next to LTE/CDMA/EvDo. This brings up options, scroll up and you can choose CDMA Auto (PRL). This turns off 4G/LTE. DancingNexus

Tried a few, so far no luck. Oh well at least the rest of the phone is awesome now (Laptop dock excluded(I didnt like Apex, wish I could turn in off when I dont want it))

Go into Manage apps - All - My Gallery - Clear data

See if that works. My wifes X does this sometimes and that usually does the trick.

Here is a question: If I install the leaked ICS, when the OTA arrives, will it just overwrite the leaked version? Also, are there step-by-step instructions for installing the leak?

Thanks, guys.

Have u ever installed safe strap before

I took the dive and I think I am going to be very happy waiting for the official ota with this build. I really liked seeing the 1200mhz dual core processor on the benchmark too.

First of all, I would say 99% chance the version we have now will not be the first official version release via OTA. The OTA will likely not install over the leak. You would have to use the 902 FBZ, then ota to 905 which will then allow you to take the new OTA when it comes out.

If you do the update to ICS, does it erase everything and all your apps on the phone?
Also are people finding the 4G connections issues are completely resolved with this update?
Thanks

All apps are still there. Too soon for me to say about 4g but everyone seems generally happy.

When I reverted back to .902, it wiped everything on the phone (but left the SD card intact.) Instead of adding anything at that point (including going through the setup) I just applied the OTA .905, then to upgraded to .2233. At that point, I added apps back.

Honestly, it was very refreshing to see a blank slate and to start fresh. Yes, it was a hassle having to bring back several "must have" and essential apps, but to me it was a small price to pay to have a pristine, clean install.

That and the lack of data drops. And the ui, and the smoothness, and the more vibrant screen, and the seemingly better battery life.

Not seeing any real improved battery life that some are seeing.

8h 16m on my extended battery and down to 40%. Thats about on par with pre ICS. maybe even a little worse as it seems a lot more stuff is running.

I never had any issues with the smoothness of Gingerbread. I am not sure what I was expecting with ICS but it really doesn't seem any smoother as far as screen transitions go. I have always noticed minor lag and I still do. I do like the new keyboard but it is going to take me a few days to get used to the minor change in layout. The UI is very nice and I am still tinkering with the setting.
