speaking of sammy. i know the droid charge comes out tomorrow.
is there a section here that talks about it? id like to see some updates with that. if it comes down in price and has better battery than the TB i might consider that over the TB.
if anyone could point me in the right direction if a thread exists.

I'm really torn right now. So torn.
The first time I heard about the Bionic being the first 4G DualCore phone on VZW, I was like... MINE! But now, with the delays, locked bootloaders, rumors, and just straight out BS.... I'm really torn.
I would move to the Tbolt, but I hate the way HTC builds their phones. The body is cheap plastic, and I hate the way the battery covers "snap" on. They just don't feel sturdy, unlike Motorolas (Currently have a DX), who have hard metal bodies and battery covers with hinges. They feel solid. And I've NEVER been a fan of Samsung. The Fascinate is just hideous. The UI and everything just disgust me (which is easily taken care of with rooting/romming, but it's still a Samsung). And again, the cheap plastic feel. Which strays me away from any of the GSII phones.
Things I know I want: DualCore, 4GLTE, qHD 4.3", and Gingerbread or higher. Gorilla Glass would be nice... but whatev. And Most Of All: AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER!!!!
I really don't wanna move away from Moto... but damn it, if they don't get their ducks in a row, then I'm just going to have to break this dirty habit I have of going with Moto phones.

I hope the bionic has these specs!Ive always liked the form of the bionic,this would b my 1st moto so im xcited about moto phones.Ive got 2 learn about this rooting thing though!!

Granted they have been bad in the past about updating but if you look at more recently they have been releasing more source codes and updates then I think they have in the past 2 years. Maybe they got the hint and are improving their update rep?
Also it appears samsung phones are the simplest to root.
Rooting a phone merely allows you get the most out of it. Smart phones aren't cheap. Technology accelerates at baffling speeds. Rooting, ROMs, and Overclocking give you the chance to get more out of your phone and for a longer time.
The droid charge is a perfect example for my argument (if you can call it that). It's a 4G Fascinate. When looking at the spec sheet, all I can think of is "issat it?" And then when you see the price tag...good night...
When this phone finally rolls out in the later part of this year, and it still only has 512 RAM and lesser storage, will you want it? Yes, the TB came out with "outdated tech;" all phones do. But with Verizon 4G devices, they're taking it a little too far. None of these phones feel next-gen. The TB just seems to suck the least.
Phones that really do seem like they're new and exciting are things like the Galaxy S 2's, and the Sensation (formerly the pyramid). Sadly, neither of which are for Verizon.
