This information has been confirmed by by DaBlackMamba on AC Forums He works for Best Buy Mobile starting to get Training on the D3 and The Bionic.
I posted some of the Paperwork he got Here.

This is what the Verizon Rep Showed him about the Bionic so far.
He has a photo which has his Job ID water marked all over it so he can not show the pictures as of yet but what he has said is that the lated pictures that have been posted is the phone Basically. He has been answering questions about the phone.

Looks like:
omap 4440
unlockable/unlockable bootloader ( hers came out of the box unlocked)
1gb ddr2
$299 with Contract
$799 Retail.

Fack thats a small fortune...make it less ok preach= ) I sure hope they OC that lil 4440 to 1.2 cuz 1ghz @ this point would be a little disappointing... I know .2 ghz right? It's principle at this point people!

Id really like to see what the improvements are outside of the amount of ram that the CES etna SHOULD have had from the get go, and switch from tegra 2 to TI OMAP because right now, the new hardware doesnt seem to be living up to the 7-8 month wait... Wow me moto.. because this whole latest verizon GB issue you cant work out has me second guessing.

Thanks for the roadmap too... My bionic hype balloon is slowly deflating... So hopefully they're holding something back... something that these insiders insist why this is the phone to be waiting for. : /

Unless Moto underclocks it for battery life...

Makes me feel better if thats the case.. either way a 1.5 or a under c'd 1.2 like tipsters suggested would work... just means i can oc it later to 1.8ghz raawwwrrr!!!

Well I'll be out of the country until Aug 21st so maybe that price will have dropped by $50-$100 at Amazon and there will be better batteries.

The OMAP 4440 isn't listed in Wikipedia but a quick Google search shows its a 1.5GHz dual core monster. The Bionic is going to be the phone to have!

What are prices like on the Droid Charge? I can tell you I probably won't pay $299 for a phone on contract. I'm hoping by the time I have my upgrade the price has dropped some. I have a $30 discount coming but that's still $269+tax? Geez.
