Yeah been trying to download from rom manager...keep getting "Error occurred while downloading the ROM list! Please contact the developer of this ROM."

Rooted, 2.2, deodexed...when is the non-corrupted file going to the official?

After reading his description it looks like it's just a "light" version of the deodexed Froyo leak we already have. That is, unless there's something else we don't know about?

I dont think this first ROM is going to be EVERYTHING we want, but I'm excited about it. We're about to receive the first custom ROM on the supposedly "unhackable" Droid X which was only released just over a month ago. If my memory serves me correctly, we didnt have much available for the D1 30 days after release either. These guys are doing incredible work, using a lot of trial and error to find chinks in Motorola's armor. Then they figure out ways to make it easier for the less tech savvy of us to be able to use the work that they've been doing. This ROM, regardless of how different it is from the stock 2.2, will be on my phone the moment they think it's stable enough to add to ROM manager.

its not really anything special guys..just pretty much a stripped down version, thats really all you CAN do at this point...unless hes got a version of froyo we dont know about (jit maybe )

...heres my backup...runs good and all the bloat is .bak..but its still there if you need it one day its deodexed as well, and the market has been fixed and the stagefright is set to false

It's legit...thanks birdman and crew. Basically takes out 30 minutes - 1 hour of time to install 2.2 and remove the bloat manually. Still gotta remove that pesky NFSShift game though :wink:
