Blockbuster App... Help Please!

I updated the Blockbuster app the other day and ever since, my battery hasn't been as good. I know I read it before on what to do to help this (and I did it, but I'm thinking this new update may have changed that)... I looked under the settings but don't see anything. Can someone please help?
