Who decided blubbering and whining women was a great idea for a VZW commercial? And then who decided I needed to see it every commercial break?

I haven't seen this commercial, but I saw a new T mobile commercial this evening. Their spokesmodel traded her pink dress for pink leathers and a sportbike. It caught my attention.

My favorite part of that commercial is the "Come join America's largest 4G network". It makes me LOL every time. I have to explain why it's funny to whoever I'm with.

Yeah, that part stopped me, I turned towards the TV said, "What, no they're not!?!"

This is without a doubt, the worst commercial ever made. I cringe every time it comes on the TV. If I had a RAZR I would return it in protest. I have emailed Verizon and Motorola and begged them to remove it. I urge everyone who finds it offensive to do the same.

It's funny how people will watch the commercials during the superbowl and take the good with the bad.
But during the rest of the year complain because it doesn't suit them and their needs. Too funny.

No that's not it, they are taking an un-funny premise in an awkward and ugly way and expect it to sell.

I just cringe when it's on, what an often played fail!

No that's not it, well maybe it is, but they are taking an un-funny premise in an awkward and ugly way and expect it to sell.
I mean what's attractive about a mom and daughter when there a few minutes away, I don't know them and I want to smack them both!

Now I just cringe when it's on, and they show it several times a day, OK maybe twice.
Please stop for the love of humanity stop!

This will NOT make me the most popular guy here...
I like it, subtitles for blubbering, classic. Makes me laugh, especially the wtf look on the salesman's face followed by a resigned "I'll get two from the back"
Oh well, simple minds like mine are easily amused......

As a woman this makes me squirm uncomfortably. I get the point of the ad, and the hook, with mother's day coming up soon. But ack.

If a commercial's purpose is to irritate and annoy people, well it is one of the most successful commercials of all time. If the purpose is to make you remember the products, then it has done its job. I will remember this commercial and I will have negative feelings about Motorola, and Verizon. I think commercials are to make you have positive feelings toward the products they are advertising. I can remember several commercials that were so good that I bought the products. The Jax beer commercials with Mike Nichols and Elaine May many years ago made me buy Jax beer and I don't usually drink beer. (Most of you will be too young to remember those wonderful commercials). I don't know if Oscar Meyer bacon is any better than others but I usually buy it and sing "Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner" as I put it in the basket. (I don't eat weiners). I have positive feelings about Oscar Meyer.
