Blue Energy Theme for FROYO (Android 2.2)

I installed it using SPRecovery, and it looks great but the time that is on da right of da battery is transparent...any way to make it blue or white..??? Thanx.!
 
love the blue energy theme for sapphire with exception of one thing. I don't like the battery icon. A round battery would be great. If it had percents would be better. I tried to load several other zips but none will work with this theme. I maybe doing something wrong who knows??????????????
The blue energy is my favorite theme. Can a different icon be made to work.

No you aren't doing it wrong, update.zips copy the whole framework and you can't apply the whole framework onto sapphire (and you wouldn't want to you will lose features) I'm going to see if metamorph works better with these source roms than they do on stock froyo if it does ill post it

I'm somewhat noobie at this stuff but I can do a lot too. I read and try, read and try again. YHEN ASK QUESTIONS..............lol
 
You could use one of the file manager programs, either Astro or Root Manager to copy the services.jar file to your /system/framework directory. Just make sure you enable R/W access to the framework folder before you copy it. and make sure to make a Nandroid back-up prior to doing this. Once you copy the file to your phone, reboot and say buh-bye to your clock.
 
Hey im running BB .4 and have installed this theme from rom manager, and i LOVE everything except the battery :P and i've been trying to change it. I tried just replacing the png files using adb and just putting them in the framework.apk but it just boot loops.

how are you supposed to install the other battery icons in the OP? I tried MM but it said invalid.

Btw, I'm about to change the batter on all versions to match the SS 4.3 version which is a blue colored htc sense battery but with percentages

Not sure if it's been mentioned but there is a small program called Android Commander that I've been using for push/pull/copying and such. Let's you work on phone without mounting and remounting USB (cuz i've goofed my wife's sdcard that way).

I know it's sort of OT but this thread is epic so I'd like to share it.\

Edit: Just noticed (while copying BE to phone) that it signs apk's and flashes recoveries.
