bluetooth not turning on

anyone else have a problem with their bluetooth not turning on? it was working fine for me last week but today I cant get it to connect to my bluetooth headphones.
i tried rebooting my Droid but problem persists.

can anyone offer some assistance?

Power down and pull the battery. Had the same problem just this morning and that fixed it.

I finally got it to work after rebooting the Droid twice.

What's causing this problem? I sometimes wonder if one of the apps I installed from the open development android market is conflicting with my droid?

I am having the same problem actually and I have done everything I can to try and fix it and nothing.

I rebooted my droid a couple times and my bluetooth is working fine again.

It happens to me also. I just reboot the Droid by holding down the shift alt del keys to fix it.

Having the same problem. Tried restarting the phone several times. No use so far.

I also have the issue where Bluetooth won't turn on (Droid X). I was fooling around Sunday trying to pair it with a Zumo 550 which was problematic. I eventually got tied up doing other things and was going to retry today. I rebooted several times and pulled the battery twice--no dice. It just "tries" to turn on but eventually times out and remains off. Very frustrating!

I had the same issue several times. A couple times rebooting fixed it, but what seemed to fix it permanently for me was going into Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Bluetooth and clearing the cache and data.
I had to re-pair my headset, but I haven't had a problem since.

I found a post with those steps as well and tried them. No luck for me--Bluetooth will not even turn on... so can't try to pair it with anything.

Is there an App or workaround to let my Moto Droid let my bluetooth earphone make a voice dial call out? I'm told when the new 2.2 update comes out, it will let me. Is that for sure?

Just to follow up-- I did a factory reset and BT turns on again. Very annoying!

tried it all batt pulls reboots 4 different roms/kernels wipe and clear cashe and still bluetooth wont turn on just acts like its going to turn on then greys out please someone help just bought a obd2 scanner and need bluetooth to try it

Man, that really stinks. Factory reset did the trick for me... I wonder if you have a hardware problem. Might be worth taking it in to have them check it out for you.
