Technically since it's a civil suit, Samsung was found "liable," not "guilty." In any event, bad news. I'm sure they will appeal.

apple is indeed attempting to create a monopoly and COMPLETELY STIFLE development. sure their products are nice, decent whatever, HOWEVER they haven't shown any true innovation in years, and honestly it's getting old.

I would care so much except for the fact that Steve Jobs is on video saying great artists steal... so what does it matter, it's not like samsung has really hurt their bottom line. It's because apple wants no competition period, end of story.

calm down guys. Both sammy and apple had their day in court. The ruling is what it is. That ruling did not make my nexus all of a suddenly stop working. This just means sammy and other android oems need to continue innovating and patent what the own. I personally not going to allow a court ruling to change how I feel about tech. I like all tech both android and apple. My phone of choice is android. All the other hoop la I leave to the lawyers. The only time I will have an issue is if they were going house to house taking sammy devices from people. Until then its lawyers being lawyers. It will work its way out in the end and life will continue. The lawyers continue to get paid, the courts get paid, executives get paid. The only ones who suffer are the customers and the employees who get laid off to cover the court costs.
