Bug Fixes and a Little More What Else Could You Ask For- Sapphire 0.6.2

while waiting do your benchmarks on the current build and stow them away for the comparo : )

Visually it will look the same. I'm curious to see the performance increase if any...

Awesomeness!! :icon_ banana:
This rom just keeps getting better and better. Major kudos to cvpcs!!
Glad you liked my idea :D

Oh, and it only works when you have the music playing and you turn the screen off. With the screen off these controls "turn on".

I heard in the back room from jstafford that the new leak was smoother than 0.6.2 (i know, crazy right???), so I can't wait to see 0.7.0 with the new drivers.

I was wondering if this feature will work with 3rd party music apps (like 3 i.e. cubed music) or just the stock music player? If it supported all music apps that would be amazing, but even just the stock player is pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure this is only for the stock music player (and maybe the milestone music player). Though you could probably file a feature request and he might code one for you, who knows. I mean, once I asked him to look at it again, he had it done that day, so it shouldn't be too hard. But don't hold me too this.

I use the stock anyway....:D Great feature IMO.

Just to give everyone an update, basically we're just waiting on kernels to be finalized and tested. So far things are working great, and my last benchmark was 1290 quadrant, 15.9 linpack, on a 1.0ghz lv kernel. not too shabby if i do say so. :) beat out the moto shadow < 2.2 on quadrant

Thanks for the update.... can't wait to install it.

I know, there's nothing wrong with the stock player. And I loved the idea when it popped into my head. I filed a feature request right away.

Sounds good cvpcs. Can't wait for the new kernel and 0.7.0.

i can confirm that this feature only works with the stock music player, as there isn't a global way to tie-in to 3rd party apps for next/previous/play/pause functionality. So basically it will work with any stock/stock replacement (such as milestone or included music).

Dang I was hoping it would work with Eliot Stocker's music app overhaul version 1.75.

it may, it looks like his overhaul is a replacement for the stock music app, so it might implement the same interface that the functionality calls out to.

Question, does this ROM allow you to configure the notification LED's to blink when the screen is on like you can with CM?

As simple/stupid as it seems, this functionality is keeping me glued to CM.
