Installed over 2.4, no wipe, the only 2 things I have noticed so far is the compcache start reboot issue (mentioned earlier), and the new market option does not install. The original market is working fine though.
Missing at least one app so far from market, Events Time Counter. And remove boot animation and install market update run commands not working, they execute but don't take effect.
Compcache is working on boot. Steps I took:
1. Nandroid and Titanium bckup
2. Flashed 2_5. Booted.
3. Let ROM stabilze for 2 hours. Set CPU OC /250/1000. Built it overclock not working. (investigating)
4. Quadrant Bench @1100: First Pass: 1448. Second Pass 1641
5. Set Compcache to 18%
6. Booted to recovery and flashed: slayher_compcache_droid.zip
6. Verified on boot that Compcache is working via SETCPU and Terminal.

These steps do work. I am not sure what I did wrong the first time, but I did every above with the exception of the 2 hour wait and compcache is working. I am using LFY-1200 kernel. 1st quadrant benchmark 1535, second was 1632. Setcpu and "compcache stats" in terminal both showed compcache working. I did not use the compcache start command this time because comcache had started automatically on boot.

I just changed kernels today with 2.5. I was using LFY-1000 with 2.4. I don't enough time yet fooling around with it yet to make an informed opinion, but so far so good. The temps are not that different. In general everything feels like it operating a little quicker, but I am not sure if that is due to the kernel change, or the ROM change. I did notice that our quadrant scores are essentially the same, so I can't imagine that the performance gain is that much.
Reinstalling ROM Manager took care of it. The built in overclocking actually seems to be doing a bit on my phone. No overclocking, I get a Quadrant scores of around 949, Built in turned on, it's ~1053, and using SetCPU 1223 on Slayher's 900 MHz kernel. No compcache.
Can also confirm that the Market update is not working here either, it appears to run but afterwards, checking versions shows it's still 1.82.
