Built-in Clock in top right corner keeps stopping every so often

I have only noticed this happening today so far but every once in a while I will look at the clock on the top right of the screen and it will be behind (not a minute or two but usually more than 5 or 6). I also have the DigiClock widget running on the home screen and it is always correct. After awhile the top right clock corrects itself. Does anyone know how to fix this?
