Can anyone spare a Google voice invite?

Google Voice Invite

Threads merged.

Just for the benefit of people who are new to this thread I want to remind you that people sell these on ebay but you can get one for like a buck.

Thanks Hook!

I've checked on eBay, and it looks like they're going for about $10 right now (with pending bids), so I thought I'd check here first. I've also asked Google for an invitation, but I'm not sure how long that takes.

Might go the eBay route if necessary. I don't have experience with it, so I'm not sure if I should fork over $10...

Can anyone tell me if your experience with it is truly that awesome?

voicemail transcription needs a lil work

Sometimes the transcript has no semblance to the recording, but at least I can listen to the msg w/in Google all on my desktop

Nursing the wife from operation;otherwise I could go to store and get my Inc

Just recently people were saying a buck or two. I wouldn't pay 10.00 for one. I'd ask Google first I think that's how I did it and I didn't have a long wait. Of course back then they weren't as prized as they are today.

Well, I already have visual voice, so I guess that spending $10 for the transcription isn't going to be worth it for me. Thanks for the feedback!

I hope your wife is doing well, and I hope that you're able to get your Inc. soon. I truly love mine!

Thanks Hook! I'll just wait until I hear back from Google.

Read somewhere that Google is sending invites more frequently to people(students) with a .edu email that request them. Just sent one from that account and one from my gmail account. Hopefully will get an invite soon. I will update if I get one from my .edu email to confirm or deny.
