Cant load update zip file

Hello, I have followed the following direction to the letter. When I get to # 10 I get the message. E:cant open /sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory) Installation aborted.
When I download the zip file do I open it or save it? I saved it then renamed it and copied it to the root directory. Do I need to download a zip program to my droid to be able to open it? Please HELP.

1. Download ESE81update.zip

2. rename the downloaded file to update.zip
3. mount Droid to computer
4. copy file from computer to root of sdcard
5. unmount card from computer
6. hold X while rebooting until SPRecovery screen comes up
7. wipe data factory reset
8. install
9. allow update.zip
10. install /sdcard/update.zip (depreciated)

You save the file to your hard drive, then rename to update.zip
Make sure your file isn't named update.zip.zip
Right click the file > properties. It will display a file name there.

When copying to the sdcard you need to make sure the update.zip file does NOT go into any folder on the card.

Remember, just name it update windows will add the .zip

I am having the same problem i downloaded the file from several different sites but every time i try to install it says no such file or directory HELP please...

I got it working sorry big time rookie here
