try taking everything off your sd card except the update.zip then try it again it will work. it did for me at least

Good news! No reason for anyone to get stuck, plenty of help to go around!

My understanding is the issue turned out to be update.zip ending up as update.zip.zip for others having a similar problem.

Yep, Windows 7 at work again.

To anyone running Windows 7 name your files update as windows 7 adds a .zip to the filename
