Case with No Slide Out Keyboard Feature

Do you also need a holster to go with the case ?

Seidio
No screen protector and backwards compatible with your other products, i.e. holsters and docks.

+1 for this. Between SWYPE and the HTC keyboard I never use the physical keyboard anymore. But I already have the spring-clip holster and would LOVE to retain it with a new (non sliding) case!!!!
Yeah, I've got that holster and one of their docks.

For a case like this ( no silde out feature), Is it necessary to have the screen protector built in ?

Seidio may be interested in making a case like this if there is an enough interest .

Seidio
i would be interested in that :)

Just backing the comments already made. A quality case that would lock up the physical keyboard would sell me in an instant. The extra moving parts involved in the slideout keyboard are nothing but a structural liability to me. Owning the phone for less than a month, I can say that I cringe when I go to pull my Droid from my front pocket and find that the keyboard has unlatched. It makes me really nervous.

I'd like a holster; being back-compatible with the current Seidio holster would be great.

(As an aside, I am looking for a way to jog with my Droid holstered to my shorts and have considered the Seidio holster, though I'm sure it wasn't designed for this...Any comments on this thought would be appreciated).

Oh, how I hope you guys are up to something...

And yes, a holster would be the icing on the cake..:icon_ banana:

And obviously it must be compatible with your home/car docks..

Personally I was hoping that Otterbox would see that there's an interest for a no slide-out keyboard case.

Although I've never owned a Seidio product I'm very impressed with how this company listens to its customers needs.

I would buy a no-slide-out-keyboard case right now if one was available.

Ditto. You would have to be on meth to believe the Seidio case is going to protect the phone from hard fall.I had a Seidio for weekends on my Storm, and have the gray Seidio cover on my Droid, but IMO it's only good for keeping the phone from scratches, and it has a nice feel to it when holding it....for real protection you gotta go with a Defender case with a holster.

P.S. This isn't a knock on Seidio, they make a great product and they stand behind it,but in a manufacturing environment it just won't cut it, plus when you work in a tight area you wind up bumping the spring clip causing the phone to fall out.For anyone that doesn't work in a "harsh" environment, the Seidio is more than enough, and looks really nice compared to the Otterbox that makes the phone bulky, and only it only comes in very in limited colors.

I think I found a silicon case that covers the droid and wont let you open the keyboard. I rarely use the physical keyboard and want to protect the phone. I have been looking for hours and I hope it is the one. It comes in a few colors too.

Care to post a link?

I've mentioned it before, as well as sending an email to Seidio about it. I'm still very interested in new style case. I don't see a real need in having a built in screen protector since people prefer different brands. Also, it would be nice if the current holster would fit it so those who have already gotten holsters for their innocases wouldn't need to drop another $30 on a new holster after buying a new case.
