Case with No Slide Out Keyboard Feature

just emailed seidio.. bump for a one piece that stops the sliding..

I did the same thing last week with Otterbox. Hopefully one of them will step up to the plate. Maybe we could get a poll started on how many people would like a case that would keep the keyboard from sliding. This is the only way people that want excellent protection is going to get it,those top pieces that snap on just break when the hit concrete, and the battery/battery door goes flying.I want what Otter box does with their Defender series.....a top and bottom plastic plate(s) and then a nice rubber slip case that goes over that and has notches in the rubber cover to clip to the 2 piece plastic cover. The Otterbox feels good after carrying it a few days when the oil from your hand makes it feel nice and soft, and if you don't like that feel just wash it with soap and cold water and it gets tacky all over again.

I emailed both also. My wife and I never use the keyboard, and would love to get our hands on a case that would keep the keyboard from sliding.

same on a rubber type case..seidio would be my firstchoice, not really interested in getting some custom carbon fiber case made by a guy in his garage

I really don't have a lot of time to read through the 30 or so pages regarding the carbon fiber case concept. Did this ever work out? If so, is he still taking orders?

Finally, is there a rubberized sleeve that someone has discovered for we "non-keyboard" users on the A855 Motorola Droid?
Thanks!

seems like there is a market for this? Humph, would have never guessed it. Hope someone is listening, as more options, the better!

They look the same to me. I got one just like them, it is a 2 piece that attaches to each other on the top and bottom with a slide track. It protects the phone nice, but I still want a one piece to block the keyboard from opening.

This.

Seidio,

Make a one piece case that is backwards compatible with your other accessories, dock and holster, and you'll have more of my money.
