Would I have any issues/problems installing different costume soft keys to this rom using Zipthemer or Metamorph from this XDA link?

I[/URL]'m really interested in having the stock ICS blue reflective soft keys.

I am not sure if that will work. You can make a Nandroid backup before you try the keys. If the mod doesn't work you can restore the backup.

I have my soft keys in the stock blue ICS colors. That is an option built into the ROM. I also added the search button to my soft keys with the options in this ROM, too.

Just loaded this and am playing with it. I've found how to change the colors of the clock and the dock icons. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to change the color of the battery and 4g icons etc...

If you mean from within the ROM then no. You would have to flash a mod to change the battery or 4g icons.

hmmm... thank you for the response. is there a way to remove the battery icon? i found that battery bar which i really like, so can i just remove the battery now? I have battery widget set to off, but it's still there.

The battery widget off just means the percentage doesn't show from what I remember.

Start with that link a few posts above that explains how to change the soft system icons. At the bottom of that post is info concerning manually modifying the file that includes the notification icons.

That is true about me making a backup if something may go wrong. But I was seeing if someone has done this before to give me a better feeling about this. I'll try soon.

Edit: Also I have changed the soft keys to the blue color and enabled the the other keys.

Unless it says otherwise I always wipe cache partition and dalvik cache when updating the same ROM. Some people don't wipe anything. Either way you don't need to wipe data unless it specifically states that you should.

A couple things you could try. Go to Settings > Apps > All and find the launcher. Choose Clear data. Also could try booting into CWMR and run fix permissions.
