change voice for maps

I would love it if there could be a way to change the voice on turn by turn. I know there is a way to do it for other GPS systems but was wondering if there was a way to do it for the Droid. I have always wanted Mr T telling me to turn left fool.
I realize its supposed to be a phone first but thought it would be a cool idea. Anyone else got any cool voices ideas?

There is only one voice for turn by turn navigation. Sorry.

I doubt you'll see this with TTS. Try changing the voice characteristics using the TTS settings. To me they pretty much sound the same.

You'd really need actual sound clips IMO for what you're looking for. You'd really need to find a GPS nav app that uses sound clips instead of TTS. IIRC, that's how replacement voices are handled with other GPS apps/devices.

Telenav on my former device worked this way to handle language support. I tended to use the British English voice.
