Step 1. download the file
step 2 rename it update (if you have windows 7 then only update because windows 7 automatically adds the .zip for you)

Ok so im downloading it now, after the download do i have to extract it?

no do not extract it leave it zipped

the droid unzips it and reads the package so it is very important that you leave it zipped

Ok so i renamed it so now i mount the phone and just drag it to the card (no folders)

what version of windows you running

Vista 64bit

make sure it is name correctly or we will have to do some more steps to rename it and reinstall it.
After you mount your phone. Put it on the sd card make sure it do not go into any folders. Itshould replace the other update.zip folder you have on there.

After the file is installed you are going to unmount then reboot into recovery.
Do this by powering off than power on while holding x key

ok its on the card and i turned the phone off, so now i boot into recovery mode right and select the "apply sdcard update.zip" option

ok it was successfull and im getting the red scion eye as we speak lol

you will probably have to reactivate your phone
