The nightlies are potentially unstable, is why I hesitate. Don't want anyone getting the wrong idea because they tried to put in a feature and it broke something.

That's them! I haven't played around too much but my Quadrant scores were higher and I had to redo the BTVD fix. They're working hard on some updates, like for the camera, so hopefully 6.0.1 or 6.1 will be out soon.

Good Morning Everyone,

I installed CM6 on my Droid (1) yesterday after having Bugless Beast ROM on my phone since BB v0.3. I liked v0.4 a lot until the Verizon OTA updates were being sent out... I disabled the first update but the 2nd one was annoying the f*** out of me..

A friend who is an Moderator on another Android forum recommended me to use this ROM and I have been using it for almost 24hrs. Of course as anything new it is taking some time to get use to but I like it.

I'm using the default settings right now (whatever it came with) and it's really good.

The only issue I have came across is when I am playing Slacker Radio seems to lag if I do pretty much anything..

Anyways.. GREAT ROM!

Any tips/tricks?

Okay, bad pun, but I do have a suggestion.

First, uninstall and reinstall Slacker. Next clear your Dalvik cache:

You'll want the second code set from CerealKiller's directions for me.

If that doesn't work there are a few other things we could try. Have you been messing with the DSP settings? Are you running a nightly or 6.0?

slacker stops running for me if i do anything else...and that happened on every 2.2 rom for me...

I re-installed Slacker and it seems to be working better/fine now.

What's DSP Settings? What's a nightly or 6.0? Sorry I'm confused..

I unplugged my phone around 5:45am today and it's showing 70% left. I have sent some texts, used google chat, Facebook via browser and one phone calls this morning..

Sorry, somehow the l got clipped off the html. Also, DSP settings are the built-in equalizer. It might have messed with Slacker on some level.
