[ROM] **CM9 Discussion/Download Thread**

Winner: just flashed the 1/27 build, and SetCPU is telling me that this kernel maxes at 1.2 GHz, rather than 1.35, as in the 1/19 build I was running. Is that the case? Problems with 1.35? I was not having any random reboot issues @ 1.35. FWIW. Thanks.

Tap'd from my GNex

Edit nvm I read into the gerrit changes and it seems it writes to the files from settings

Tried using this rom as well, and the market sync doesn't work. Happened as well with the previous Gummy rom I tried. The common element is kejar's gapps. Anyone else having problems with it?

are there any themes for this rom yet?? im running the latest release? but i want a lil bit of the blacked out goodness..i mean ics has nice coloring..but lets get some pizzazz in our cm9...btw where do i go to disable the boot animation?

...btw where do i go to disable the boot animation?

Settings > Performance > Disable boot animation..... I saw some other forums where users' boot times were cut in half or better. I'm on 0127 build and tried it several times without animation and maybe saved 5 seconds. YMMV

Just upgraded to today's build (from 19 January) with Franco's latest nightly kernel build. Completely painless, looks good so far! Kudos!!

The volume issue appears to have been dealt with (though haven't made a call yet, the media and other volume levels seem better). Thanks!

I also went from Jan 19th to Jan 31 last evening. No issues whatsoever. Wallet, Market, volume, everything works.
Many thanks, great job.

How important is it to clear dalvik cache as well as data and cache, first flash, just rooted, i have my clean root backup made, just not sure of the differences in doing one,the other or both, flashing through rom manager btw

I have always used ROM Manager too. I was running Bugless nights earlier so I wiped cache and data when I moved to Winners CM 9. Cumbersome, buy just take your time. Since then I've only wiped dalvik cache when flashing the newer versions. No sweat. Just like the CM 7 nightlies.
You'll love it.

Guys, does anyone in the know have any sort of rough ETA for a stable CM9 build? They haven't updated their website since Dec 2. Always used CM on my OG Droid, really looking forward to it again.

I believe their number one rule is no ETAs but I would guess end of February to March. Winner's build is perfectly stable though.
