[ROM] **CM9 Discussion/Download Thread**

Been running this ROM since around Christmas, just installed latest nightly.
Finally have my power widget settings back! Thank you so much, even its mostly-complete state, CM9 is awesome.
It'll be interesting to play around with leaving LTE disabled when I don't need it. Ostensibly battery savings may be substantial.

Any way to make any of the hardware buttons control something in the camera? I love this phone, but having to hit a touch button to snap pictures can be a pain at weird angles.

ok kang .... I never knew tha name of any one on the cm9 team .....i take it you are the man .. tha man who spear hades this party... just curious.. Ive seen you name on other sights and I thought that someone just made some tpe of spin off om cm9's work.

Flashed todays build. LTE toggle works great! One thing I noticed was that when I enabled the search soft button, the CM Settings app force closed immediately without enabling the search button. It did this every every time time I tried. However, when I rearranged the order of the buttons and then tried to enable the search button, it was successful.

hey winner do you know how i would go about correctly installing the dsp manager app into another ics rom on a different phone? the CM9 dsp manager is more updated and looks better than previous ones, right? or is it the same old one thats been around? I tried installing one i saw before but it didnt work, i kinda figure i need more than just the apk, right? sorry if this isnt the place to ask

Anyone else having issues with the mobile data and wifi icons remaining grey? Mine are staying grey regardless of what I do. Tried flipping to airplane mode and back, rebooting, battery pull, nothing works. The phone actually IS successfully getting network connections going, just doesn't show it. Happens on 3G, 4G, and WiFi. The BlueTooth indicator is functioning just fine.

Do you have gapps flashed? I.e. can you open "Talk"? Did you try running a "Fix Permissions" in rom manager and then rebooting?

@winner00, Great build so far - I'm not seeing an LTE toggle on the power widget, though - looks the same as it ever was (same as it ever was)...

I have not encountered this at all, running 1-02, from full wipe, using gapps 12-27. 3G, 4G and WiFi (using three different routers around the house) all are successful for me at least.

EDIT: 1-02 is force closing on the power widget settings when clicking indicator color.

Changes in this build:

  • Updated images for search button and fixed enabling search button.
  • Updated LTE image.
  • A few speed tweaks and faster rotation time.
