Competition in the Open-Source World Drives Software Evolution - Sapphire 0.5.2

I want to try this but rom manager errors with:

Code:
Welcome to Sapphire-0.5.2-Droid!script aborted: assert failed: !less_than_int(1277228366, getprop("ro.build.date.utc"))

assert failed: !less_than_int(1277228366, getprop("ro.build.date.utc"))
E:Error in /sdcard/download/sapphire-0.5.2-update.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

I got the same thing with Rom Manager, I just temporarily flashed SPRecovery and did it that way.

6 hours of moderate heavy usage = 90% battery remaining...nice.

1000mHz kernel with auto killer set to aggressive and setCPU profiles enabled.

fast ROM is fast.

The link seems to be down or broken....Anyone know if any other download locations for this Beautiful ROM. :)

EDIT: Nevermind...link just started working... :)

How did you set auto killer to agressive? I know on BB, you could do it in spare parts app, but I cannot find it.

edit**
Never mind I think i figured it out, using the freemem script. Can anyone say head slap!

quick update: have a froyo build not 100%, working on it... will post more when i have more

gonna be tomorrow at least life just happened... sorry guys we'll get it out asap

Cereal sorry I honestly don't know until we start testing, possibly yes, as dalvik has changed in a major way

dalvik has changed in a major way
So I've heard : )

Good luck......

What have you heard?

Pardon my ignorance if this is a nonsensical question, but I find the bitmap limits (and maybe that's hardward not code) to be very restrictive for what I'd like to do with my sweeterhome themes. Just seems like there is a lot of opportunity for the whole ram mgmt issue to improve since more apps/services competing for ram creates more opportunity for Android to temporarily close stuff you don't want it to.

Quick update#2: both cvpcs and koush are having to rebuild the vendor setup for the droid, its going to take a little while... but cvp has a build compiling now, he called it his first flashable test... cross your fingers
