Complete Droid X .sbf Flashing Guide

you're not screwed, the 2.3.320 full sbf should work. try again, I assume you're using rsd_lite? try sbf_flash, play with the settings on rsd_lite as described in the troubleshooting if you refuse to use linux

no linux access here, will try that when i get home. let me give sbf flash a shot

The error i get in rsdlite :

failed flashing process. failed flashing process. interface BP: Error sending RAM download for boorloader. Device API Error: 0xE003003f Address: 0x150000 Command: ADDR (0xE023203f); phone connected

**** accidentally used the 3.15 sbf on a 30.04 phone, tried using the correct one 3.32 sbf and it goes through the process but says failed at the end? can anyone help or im screwed?

Did it go through the entire process, and reboot?
If it rebooted, you're all set.. if it boot loops just go into the android recovery and wipe data/cache...

If it didn't reboot the phone when done, just go for it again...

No, rsdlite says failed and the phone stays on the bootloader screen, does not reboot

sbf flash + ubuntu = success

thanks guys.. running around like a headless chicken earlier, didnt know you could run ubuntu from a disk until closer investigation.

If it was me, I'd reboot both computer and phone (phone will likely just reboot back to bootloader screen, which is fine.. as long as it says "OK to program or whatever), and give it another go.

So this is new, I flashed back with the full 320(which I have done many times) but this time the about phone shoes 320 but nothing was reset. LPP still there all my apps, everything. Suggestions? Reflash the full 320?

So I redownloaded the 320, reflashed, and reactivated. Still was the same. Also won't grab ota to 340. Tried factory reset. Reactivated again. Still won't grab ota..... um somethings not right?
