Costco Deal Available Online????

Is this deal worth it?......im returning mine to vzw...speaker giving me bad distortion....thinking of running to costco and getting it there....

Is this something you know for sure? I've gotten all the way to the credit card screen without having to enter a costco membership number. I'm just waiting to pull the trigger once i can confirm all the contents of the in-store package, activation fee and whether I need to re-new my costco membership as I have been holding off on that till I go to buy it.

1) you don't have to be a member to order online
2) you do get all of the contents of the in-store package
3) you don't have to pay the activation fee, as per my order

Just placed order. Called rep and confirmed that I'm on Unlimited data, they will put that on activation. Also confirmed in-store package woohoo

I tried ordering but ran into a problem. I'm currently on the 700 minute Family Share plan with two Droid phones. I only want to upgrade one phone, but when I try to order it says I need to add a second line. Should I instead just order a single line with the basic plan and data, then adjust my plan back when I activate the device?
 
Make sure you click the upgrade choice above the "Add to Cart" button

Thank you! I completely missed that. It also took me a couple days to find the Droid Bionic at the bottom of the list. I assumed it would be up top as the newest phone. I'm apparently having some severe intelligence problems this week.

Droid Bionic package ordered for $292.94 and that included 2-day express delivery. The web site never asked to confirm my Costco membership, so it's apparently available to anyone. Let's see how it goes!
 
Correct doesn't require Costco membership. I ordered mine first thing friday morning, so I will post when I get it.
 
Has yours shipped or are you waiting for delivery? Hoping mine comes by Sat as I'm out of town all next week.

I ordered mine on 9/12/2011 around 9:00pm. I called customer service today to confirm everything was OK and she verified that they take 1-3 days to process the order. I signed up for two-day shipping ($12.98) so I'm guessing it will arrive by Saturday.

She was very nice and confirmed it comes with all the accessories, just as if I had bought it in the store. She also asked me if I would like to retain the Unlimited Data package.

So far, so good! Now I just need to take some time in the next few days to back up my data and prepare to transition to the Bionic!
 
I tried to order on line and got this error - There were problems with the form submitted,
  • We are having difficulty porting the number for line 1 as you requested. Please verify you entered the number correctly or please contact customer service for assistance.
I called and they were of no help at all. Any ideas?
 
I was getting that same error because I was trying to set up a NEW line instead of UPGRADING and existing line.

Go back to the first page that lists all the phones. Right above the price, you'll see where it says "2-year", "Upgrade", and "Add a Line". If you already have an account with Verizon and are just upgrading your phone, click on "Upgrade" and then add it to your cart.
