To add to that....why no Droid commercials for the Droid 3, Droid X2 or Droid Incredible 2? But for the Charge? Like you said the Droid 3 is part of the line that basically saved Moto... and put Android on the map. To this day some ppl call any Android phone a Droid phone. You can also thank Verizon's advertising for that too...lol

I got a feeling when the Bionic drops there's gonna be a ramp up of Droid commercials. If not...the fruity conspiracy theories will run rampant.

I def gotta say.. the bionic is certainly gonna be anticlimactic to me once I finally get it.. THe dualcore/4g will be nice, but all this wait all this hype.. god help it get pushed to september.. I think my moto balloon will be deflated in another two weeks.

Double agree, apparently everyone at verizon and Motorola forgot people with an original Droid were up for upgrade and there are a s#!t ton of us

It feels huge in the hand, but I was expecting that and I have fairly large hands. I was looking for something to measure it diagonally, my tape measure is MIA but I ll find something. I will say guys that in the last year or so I ve owned a HTC HD2 and HD7 which both had 4.3 screens, and this looks larger to me diagonally, that was my initial reaction....

How big does the "screen" measure?

The rough opening of the case will not give you an accurate description of the screen size. As you can note with many phones the space found around the display differs in width. There could be considerable space in between all four sides of the display taking whatever type of calculating you can think of out of the equation from measuring a case. Just expect it to be a 4.3, and in the long chance its larger.. you can consider it one of those little cherry toppers we all keep hoping to hear because of the wait.

I don't think I'll use a case on the Bionic. After 2 years of using my OG with a case, I feel like any drop that would break the phone, would break it with or without the case. And I never got to actually look at how nice the OG was. I took my case off yesterday and just admired how perfect my OG still was. Kind of sad I haven't gotten to enjoy it visually over the last 2 years. Also, a case will only make it feel larger.

As for the screen size, it will be difficult to measure accurately as per the reasons mentioned.

I cant see verizon charging more then 299 for a phone and they are not going to sell a significantly better phone for the same price as the charge

Its already dropping at amazon and other places so we are getting close
