D1-miui-1.1.22.1

Dude, when you're flashing Miui, what works 100% of the time for me, and I've done this to my and FOUR other peoples Droids, is not just wiping data and cache....you have to wipe data/factory reset, then wipe cache partition, then go into partitions and format boot, format system, format data and format cache. Then flash the Rom. I know people will tell me it's not necessary, but I've done this method on five phones with ZERO reboots or problems on any of the phones. Try it out and see what happens. I feel this method makes the cleanest install personally. :)

saving this and ill try it next flash.... does it also free up some space?

Honestly I'm not sure if it does, but it might. All I know is the method I use works. Never any problems of any kind. And if it works on five different Droids with Miui, then it should work on everyones pretty much. Always do a full wipe before installing any Rom. You get the best results.

Thanks, I always wipe- data, cache, davlik with any release but i'll try the other stuff, won't hurt any..... plus with miui backup getting everything back is just toooo easyyyy

Could anyone tell me how to upload a video to youtube with this rom as it seems that option has been removed from everywhere

I would like to know also.

When in video you cant "share" to Facebook or Youtube? You can share photos to Facebook but not videos anymore? I think this has been like this for a few builds but not sure.

You know man I've found that wiping the dalvik cache only benefits me after I've been running a Rom for like a week. I usually do it one a week and it seems to make the Rom I'm running feel fresher. I usually don't touch it when I'm flashing a Rom. Can't hurt like you said though.

This happens when you restore apps while the market sync is occurring. Let your apps sync from market or skip activation screen if you are restoring.

I always skip activation and use MIUI backup to restore every time now. I had been running the new release all day and I'm positive there wasn't anything syncing. I was just trying to download an app... it would download the app and then as soon as it would try to install I get a reboot

I'm new to MIUI and finding it very interesting. I just flashed the.1 update no wipe and about phone still shows .0. Is that normal?

Never mind I see that was answered in another thread.

Agreed. Gonna try a normal market app restore and see if that works...
