D1-miui-1.1.22.1

Thank you for your response. This method is a known method to get around the "yahoo free mail" issue and it does work. However, sending an email out this way will generate multiple emails in your sent folder if you have that option on. I'm talking about 500-700 of the same email! 25000 sent emails in one week! Motorola/verizon/Google fixed it with the very first ota update. It just has not made it to some roms (cm has it). Until then using the yahoo mail app on the market is a very good alternative, so good I may not lwant to go back. Downloading the new built.

Is there a way to make the brightness toggle in the pulldown go to the lowest brightness? It doesn't quite reduce it as low as it can go.

Everytime I download an app or update from the market I get reboot. Switching roms for a bit...

Dude, when you're flashing Miui, what works 100% of the time for me, and I've done this to my and FOUR other peoples Droids, is not just wiping data and cache....you have to wipe data/factory reset, then wipe cache partition, then go into partitions and format boot, format system, format data and format cache. Then flash the Rom. I know people will tell me it's not necessary, but I've done this method on five phones with ZERO reboots or problems on any of the phones. Try it out and see what happens. I feel this method makes the cleanest install personally. :)

This happens when you restore apps while the market sync is occurring. Let your apps sync from market or skip activation screen if you are restoring.

Hopper, just wanted to say I use this method everytime now, skipping the activation screen to restore the apps with Miui backup before signing in. Thanks for recommending this to me a few weeks ago man, works like a charm!!

Could anyone tell me how to upload a video to youtube with this rom as it seems that option has been removed from everywhere

Is it really necessary to do a full wipe with these minor changes, such as 1.1.22.1 to 1.1.26?

I always do, because I am on here quite a bit, and we want to know which bugs are ROM and which ones are user created. For some of the devices on miui-dev.com, they just wipe cache and davlik-cache, and if there are any problems recommend full wipe. To prevent jamezelle from chasing issues that are user caused, he asks that you full wipe if you are going to post problems.

Honestly I'm not sure if it does, but it might. All I know is the method I use works. Never any problems of any kind. And if it works on five different Droids with Miui, then it should work on everyones pretty much. Always do a full wipe before installing any Rom. You get the best results.
