I'm pretty sure if you just change the file name to update.zip you will have a spr recovery version.

not if the install is made for clockwork.

Ah. I wouldn't know, I've always used clockwork. Sorry. What designates something as being made for clockwork... someting in the updater-script in META-INF?

I've had no problems renaming these update.zip and installing them with SPRecovery

alrighty.
I know with other roms that have had clockwork installs and spre installs that you had to use the designated one for the recovery... that they weren't interchangeable.
Won't hurt to try anyway.

Yeah i've seen that as well. But I've been flashing these with SPRecovery since the beginning so unless something changed you should be good to go
I think you're thinking of nandroid backups. Those are not interchangable. As far as update.zips they usually work for both.

Been a while since I've changed ROM.
actually, it was with Sapphire ROM when they had CW and SPR installs, they were specific to each recovery.

I just wanted to say that i have had fantastic luck running this rom with Launcher pro. I did initially like the miui launcher and its features but after dealing with force closes and such I switched back over to launcher pro and its really smooth.
I'm only having a problem with the launcher force closing at start up. After initial force close, it works smooth and fast. I can deal with it until someone finds a remedy.
For those of you that were interested... I WAS able to swap out the framework-res.apk from Zenito V2 and put it into V3. I also replaced some of the PNG's in the Launcher2.apk to get rid of the woodgrain backgrounds. ( YES, I DID have Launcher force closes BEFORE I did this ). It took me several tries and bootloops to finally get it right but I'm now running V3 with a combination of the Stock and Zenito themes.
To Team D1-MIUI... I hope it's cool that I tweaked this a bit. I'm never sure of the ethics involved with this stuff. Other than taking credit when it's not deserved and posting things that aren't of your creation. ( I KNOW these are WWWWWRRRONG!! ) Is it cool to fiddle with someone elses work on my own Droid?
Any way, great work guys. I can't wait till the Launcher force close issue is fixed. We appreciate all you are doing to make this ROM sooo sweet.
