an idea for you...and this is what I do. If you do not like having an app drawer...you can create a folder on the homescreen near the dock (where your app drawer would normally be) and name the folder "applications" or app drawer...etc. and move all of your random apps into that folder. Thats what I do, and if I need to search through my apps...I just go to that...and scroll through.

It does take some time to get used to, but once you do...you will like it.

Its pretty quick and efficient way to navigate your phone.

I re-installed Launcher Pro and it is back to what I am used to.

However, with that being said, I will also try your way! Am open to new way of doing things. I am liking this ROM as it still has the known quirks, but I think in the end, this will be a smashing ROM when perfected!

Thanks!

Personally I can't get over the market issue and am working on it daily along with the location issues of course. I have a feeling a lot of the problems are intertwined.

ya the market thing sux and i think the weird browser launcher fc has been fixed, i'll know more today. location is an issue that i really dont care about but it is there.....

:)

What happened to The Lockscreen WP menu?

What do you mean? It should be there, lol. I'm not running it right now so I can't check. What part is missing?

Isnt the menu normally located in pop up menu once you click on desktop where add widget..etc

Btw, The stock laucher FC as well, I just noticed that. You can select the launcher but as soon as you slide a screen, FC occurs

Getting errors when using LauncherPRO: won't let me backup homescreens and settings. Says SD card error. however, card is good as I can use Root Explorer, Astro, etc. I can save files and move. I can connect vis USB and move/delete.

Another anomaly.

Have you tried formatting your SD card, just in case (backup all info on SD card first).

Sometimes an SD card can start to give some problems like that, wierd ones, until your reformat it.

No, because card is fairly new and no other issues: just with this ROM.

In fact, let me restore another ROM to compare and see if it persists.

No big thing. I know this is in alpha but, following the steps of going into "manage applications" and the steps that follow, my apps didn't sync. Just out of curiousity, how do you get them back? Let's say I backed them up with Titanium backup. If my apps don't sync, how am I supposed to get to Titanium back up to restore the apps I backed up? Hopefully, I didn't skip a response to a similar question. I apologize in advance if I did. Any help would be appreciated.

Quick assessment of the Rom: Definitely will take some time to get used to. Way out of my comfort zone. Threw up in my mouth a little when my Droid looked like an iPhone. (j/k). Kinda. If all that gadgetry could be incorporated into one of the feature filled roms (UD or one of the others), that would be off da hook. Not saying I want someone to do that. I'm just saying that it would feel better using it if it felt more Androidish. Great work to all that worked on this unique rom. Unfortunately, I'm a 1 phone guy. Since I couldn't get all my apps to load, I had to switch back to a previous rom until I figure it out a little more. It's pretty cool though.

Flashed back to LFY 1.7. No issues with saving LauncherPro settings.

Well team, I will continue to follow the development of this ROM. I do realize it is in Alpha state, but you have come a long way! Too many little nitpicks and idiosyncrasies for me at the moment.

I will definitlely come back once it is perfected. Sticking with LFY 1.7 for now.

Continue the good work!
