Here's where it gets interesting...the information I am finding says SAMSUNG manufactures these displays (note at the bottom the SONY PSP Vita), and many of these have reported problems similar to those we're discussing:
(waiting for the trolls and flamers...)
- Google Nexus S i9020
- Galaxy Nexus — Super AMOLED HD[SUP][9][/SUP]
- Motorola Droid RAZR — Super AMOLED Advanced
- Samsung Galaxy S — Super AMOLED
- Samsung Galaxy S II — Super AMOLED Plus
- Samsung Droid Charge — Super AMOLED Plus
- Samsung Infuse 4G — Super AMOLED Plus
- Samsung Galaxy Note — Super AMOLED HD
- Samsung Wave — Super AMOLED
- Samsung S8600 Wave III — Super AMOLED
- Samsung Focus — Super AMOLED
- Samsung Focus S — Super AMOLED Plus
- Samsung Omnia 7 — Super AMOLED
- Samsung Omnia W — Super AMOLED
- Samsung Solstice II — AMOLED
- Samsung Captivate — AMOLED
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 — Super AMOLED Plus
- Sony PSP Vita - AMOLED
Wow that's a long list! Wish Samsung or who ever made the display would fix it, or set some kind of "quality control".
Sent from my Motorola (Droid) Razr Maxx.. out in the boonies of TN while picking a guitar!
