DarkSlide V4 - .340 ROM - Style, Quadrant, Linpack Champ

alright chkmate now you're just showing off. your settings on your phone that yield a battery life like that are amazing. How do you freeze apps with TBU, I'm not very proficient with that app.

Thanks to the rom dev team for this amazing rom and support.

Unfortunately, in order to freeze you need the paid version of TBU.

After you have that you open it and you have a "backup/restore" tab on top middle of screen

that you select. Then it gives a LONG list of all your apps and apps you shouldn't touch. I do not

have the list of the recommended DO NOT TOUCH items. I believe that is in the bloatware sticky in the

hacks section. Then your on your own. Tap an app and hit freeze. I freeze a lot of stuff man. Like I listed

before, I text, make calls, play Angry Birds, surf web, download files, modify phone (which I can't while testing battery)

and have my face in these Forums. Everything else I don't use gets frozen. I do not play music, run videos (at least constantly),

hold the phone till it gets hot or Overclock (not needed).

Just mess around with it. The beginning of this test I took and made a lot of phone calls. Thing is, display is not on during phone

calls, that helped. This is the only phone I use so I still answer texts and everything else. My phone is not just sitting there.

I just got done checking out the DarkSlide Rom and Im going to give it a go on my Droid X but I do have 1 Noob question ... what is blurred and blurless ? Sorry for the Noob question but this will be my first Rom so Im learning as I go Sent from my DROIDX

Try to blurred....I am running it and have been for a while. It's fantastic...Also i know they are working on a big update for this rom. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Ill let you know when it arrives

It should be in your gallery now or look in a folder named Darkslide. The save as desktop.

I think I am actually tired of testing this battery/ROM performance, lol. It just turned 40%.

So either the BH6X 1930 mAh extended battery is much better than the expected 15%

increase in performance. Or...this ROM is off the charts!!! I'm going with the later on that.

Although all I did the first day is make and take phone calls (which took up 53% of my batt.

use). And I obviously returned what texts I received and had to be on the forums a little.

My setup is not beyond that of others. I will take more shots until tonight and I'm done, this

ROM wore me out

Yea with this rom my batt life is awesome! I get 13 to 14 hours and holding 50 to 60% batt. It rocks!

Are you kidding me...that must be a hack...one hole day and still 70?

I can assure you this is no hack. Guess I could waste my time making a video, showing

what battery I have in my phone and I can scroll to my batt. stats for you. I really don't

have the time to hack my phone for a false battery reading, lol. And due to the number

of people saying they also have great battery life, I don't see it necessary. If you fail to have

your device set up to your desired liking I can try and help you out. But please refrain from calling

me a liar. And if you read through ALL the posts in this thread you will see me explaining what

exactly I do for my setup.
