I just go menu/add/shortcut/contact. And if that contact has a picture for him/her it will add that to you desktop

That is a shortcut to the contact profile...thry are looking for a shortcut which will actually call the individual... it would be menu>shortcut>direct dial...or something like that. You could set it to dial the person's cell, or home, or work...it does seem to be missing.

I must add that I used that feature long ago on my D1...and it caused me to make accidental phone calls, so I stopped using it

i have downloaded the clear sliders zip now how do i load it to phone ... sorry for the Noob question ! I will get this stuff figured out soon LOL !

-Move to root of SD card.

-Bootstrap Recov. to CW

-Select "install zip from sdcard."

-Then select "choose zip from sdcard."

-Navigate to the zip and select

If you don't like the clear sliders just install the trace sliders and you'll be back where you were same with keyboard, just install back to the one you want

Also, a good idea is to make a nandroid backup before you install either of them that way you can go back to where you are now
