DarkSlide V4 - .340 ROM - Style, Quadrant, Linpack Champ

Im having a hard time getting this to work http://www.droidforums.net/forum/te...6-its-time-invert-facebook-again-1-5-0-a.html I tried to do as the directions state but Im doing something wrong ... all I ended up with was 941 FaceBook icon photos in my photos LOL ! So any help would be much Thanx !

I couldn't get that to work...I tried to install it and ended up with FB that just Force Closed...

Problem seeing things in notification bar. What apps normally use black text in stock don't show white in this rom. Making so I have to click on the app so the background text changes to see what the info is. Take this app Sirius XM. It should show the artist and song. But since the background is black and the text is they blend in. Also my Weather Channel text doesn't show either. Any fixes for this?

I just tried the 3G Hotspot and it took me to the Verizon page to sign up. I thought the hack was part of the ROM? Did I do something wrong? Do I need to actually install the hack?

Any help would be appreciated. I will continue to search the forum for help.

The hack is an add-on. You need to install it via Clockwork...try this:

-Bootstrapper
Bootstrap Recovery
Reboot Recovery
-install zip from sdcard
Choose zip from sdcard
Select hack (sdcard/DarkSlide/Add-ons/DarkSlide3g.zip)
Install
Reboot
Enjoy free Hotspotting

Haha, we'll get it...i'm also unable to get the inverted calendar to work, and BGill55 made a zip for the DX which worked for him...I did alot of f'ing around today and somehow lost Market...I restored my nandroid, but now I gotta reapply every change I made, and check 1 by 1 to see why I lost Market... LOL

Yep, this is a known issue...BBCrackman and GatesJunior are working on it...

Thanks to everyone here I did my first root and ROM all went perfect with out a hitch. I now have turned to the darkside.

Great; thanks... I just installed this and tested it on my iPAD but it's not working. I am able to connect to the phone but I can't get on the internet. Any thoughts? I haven't tested it yet with a computer. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

OK I spoke too soon. I restarted the hotspot and it worked. Things seems to be OK now. Thanks for the help. I hope it's stable.

Well you chose the right ROM to start with. It does go "without a hitch." And JMT is right, you have came over to the "Darkslide."
