I suggest trying it again. I ran the first Black Market zip for a week without

a problem. Just installed the updated Black Market zip last night and no issues

yet.

Just tried again, sadly, still didn't work. Perhaps a complete wipe and reinstall?

Did you mount system and do a factory reset before the first install of version

4.1 of Darkslide?

Sure did. and it was working for a while, even had the latest version of the clear slides installed and those still work.

Yeah. I intially had only 4.1 installed, then I did the 4.2 update, then the Darkslide Market update. It worked intially, but now it reverted back to stock.

Before you go wiping, try reinstalling 4.2 and then the market update, no wipe? Even try 4.1, 4.2, then market update no wipe...I mean if you're going to wipe anyhow...it might save you the hassle...

Another glitch was the bottom leds remain on even after a time out. When stock the leds turn off after a few seconds when using the app night clock or any other app that keeps the display on. This rom keeps the leds on and no hacks will turn these off.

Yep, this occasionally happens to me...there is a way to fix this, I recall reading (at MDW maybe?) But you'll have to PM me a reminder to check it after I get out of work and see if I can find it (somewhere around 3000 posts on the DS4.1 thread at MDW)...

I have the 4.2 blur installed and am going to try out the 4.2 non blur. Do I have to clean wipe to switch or can I just install overtop?

And I'm a blur guy, haven't ever switched over to blurless. So I don't

wanna give false info to you. I would wait for JMTownsend to drop in

and answer that for you. Have you tried asking over at MDW site on the

Have a few different roms downloaded waiting to try out. This one, GummyJar and the new Liberty. Really liking DarkSlide from what I have seen so far. The general theming alone is going to make it hard for me to switch from!

Not sure if this is happening to anyone else. But with this rom (and Tranquility) I have one hell of a time getting my apps to re-download. They get to 100% and then hang up. I have to manually click on each one and then it will start installing which makes for a very long and tedious process if I ever want a fresh install. Yes I wiped data/cache/dalvik literally 10 times in clockwork just to be sure, even did a system SBF once just to see if I had gooberd anything up and not known about it. Same thing.

This issue does NOT happen with Apex, that rom installs in about 1/2 the time and flawlessly which is one reason I went back to it.

I've noticed that since the update to 4.2 that when I receive a text and I check it from the pull down tab that a message indicator is still popped up on my desktop text icon...annoying because I have to clear it twice. Anyone else have this issue or know of a way to fix it? Everything else is great like usual.

I've noticed that even though I have my animations set to off that any pop up menu will sometimes still animate off screen.

Before I installed DS I did a hard reset and had to reinstall all apps. About a week later I installed DS. Both times I had to "help" about half of my apps install. I don't think this is a DS issue.

I have a lot of different things stay in the noti bar after a notification. But this is now and before this ROM. Sometimes you have to physically clear it by hitting "clear" button on the shade.
