Really loved this rom. Probably my fav. But my wif would never work keep connecting and disconnecting over and over. Tried reboots and reinstalling. Nothing ever worked

Got it done late last night. No wipe and everything loaded fine and is running fine! Thanks for the help.

Thanks to everyone here I did my first root and ROM all went perfect with out a hitch. I now have turned to the darkside.

Well you chose the right ROM to start with. It does go "without a hitch." And JMT is right, you have came over to the "Darkslide."

I'm so confused I Turned, Entered, Came Over, Succumbed Too. All I did is click click click reboot. Yesterday day I went to bed knowing I was a Pisces and woke up not sure I maybe a Aqurius.

Alright Im sure you guys deal with this a ton, but I want my install to be smooth and no problems.

I would like to honestly just delete everything like from my sd card and phone and just start as fresh as possible.

I just want something new so Ive been reading into DarkSlide and see I need different versions before I can get the newest version and I just see a ton of different things I can install and am getting overwhelmed with what I really need.

If possible could someone let me know where I need to start so I can just get rid of everything and then get the latest version of DarkSlide on my DX?

Certainly! I'll be glad to help! First off- check your system version ( go to settings> about phone) if you have 2.3.32 or 2.3.34 you are good to procede...and i'll be glad to guide you through the process

A few days since I last installed it, and my text is still working. The only difference is that I'm not overclocking (although I'm not sure why that would screw up the text, especially since it was only to 1.2, and On demand, as well as underclocked when screen is off) so this rom is even better now. 0 problems.

Seriously, 0. No complaints. Installing the updated market now, although I rarely leave comments.

I dont know how but my black FaceBook works now ! we tried the other day to get it to work with no luck and today I did a backup and installed the clear unlock slider and now the black FaceBook works ???

Curious... i've been thinking of tinkering with this more myself...how did you install? It's an apk, yes? Did you drop it in data/app or system/app?

Yes its a apk ... i tried both data and system but it didnt work ... I thought I erased it but like I said now it works ... now its in system/app ... I dont understand what happened but im glad it works the black looks great with DS ... one question - now if I do a backup will it keep FaceBook black ?
